Harrison, Blue Eye, Forsyth Among Schools Playing for Titles – Hometown Daily News

One round of tournaments wind down while another group gets started in a busy High School Basketball Weekend in the Ozarks.

In Arkansas, Harrison is one of the area teams playing for a Regional Championship. After their 47-29 win over Ozark at the 4A Regional in Berryville Friday, the Lady Goblins will face the team that has pinned two of their three losses on them this season, Farmington, who knocked off Pea Ridge in the other semi-final.

Among other area schools playing for finals include Alpena and Kingston, who will play each other in the 1A Girls Regional at Alpena on Saturday while Jasper will play in the Boys Title Game, Flippin in both Boys and Girls Final at the 2A Regional in Eureka Springs, and both Valley Springs teams in the 3A at Waldron.

Meanwhile in Missouri, Blue Eye is in the Class 2 District Finals at C of O against Spokane while Forsyth is at Strafford for the 3A District Title.

Also, some of the Class 4 and 5 Schools start their District Tournaments today as both Branson (at Springfield Parkview) and Reeds Spring (at Marshfield) teams are in action.
