The Branson Alderman Study Session on Thursday will include a Biannual Report from Branson Police Chief Jeff Matthews which will include the year-end crime statistics and accomplishments of the department for 2019 plus looking ahead to this year.
“This report is very encouraging and highlights the great results we are seeing across the City,” said Chief Matthews in a Press Release. “We appreciate and value our police/community partnerships and are committed to continually seeking sustainable solutions to neighborhood issues. These partnerships are producing positive results which will be shared in the review of our 2019 Uniform Crime Report,” continued Chief Matthews.
During the presentation, Chief Matthews will share a special national recognition that the Branson Police Department received from the U.S. Department of Justice Community Oriented Policing Services as well as discussing several community engagement programs held throughout 2019.
The Study Session will also feature a follow-up to recent discussion about commissioning an additional Marketing Study.
The Study Session will be Thursday at 12:30 p.m. in the Council Chambers in Branson City Hall.
